HMA is Back

Resilience, tenacity, commitment to community—part of the culture at Haile-Manas Academy! After two long months of remote learning, students returned to campus on January 16, a day of joyful reunions and palpable excitement.

Hard work on the part of our dedicated faculty and staff ensured that the Classes of 2024 and 2025 returned without missing a beat. Our talented scholars were met with well-organized and rigorous classes, extensive clubs, and the warm embrace (well, elbow bump) of their beloved peers and instructors. They simply could not wait to be back!

To our students, HMA is more than just a school, it is a second home and family. They realize the academic content and skills they receive at HMA will allow them to build a brighter future, not just for themselves, but for their communities and their country. The story of HMA continues to unfold, and along with it, stories and innovations that will resonate from Ethiopia into the world for years to come.
